Not like you really care who/what I am or am not, but here goes anyway.

I am Jacques Mostert (some of my friends call me Jayx – others have less endearing terms they wish to describe me by). I am a thirty-something Graphic/Web Designer from George, Garden Route, Western Cape, Sunny South Africa.

I am not married (yet), I have no kids, I no longer have a dog (and constantly lose other peoples’ for them), but I did have a Leila (bestest border collie ever) whom (yes “whom” – she was a person after all) I suspect to have been poisoned by a previous neighbour and miss much on a regular basis. So it goes.

I can read and write without sticking my tongue out too much and can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time if I concentrate really hard. I prolly type slower than the speed at which most people signal morse code, but that’s ok, seeing that it gives me time to think about what I say when typing (a characteristic I would love to employ and/or have the benefit of when speaking).

I used to work in Publications for a small media group in the Garden Route, so you can prolly benefit from my expertise there if you should wish it. I currently live the life of a struggling artist. I do Graphic Design, Web Design, Printing and anything legal that pays the bills and doesn’t require admin skills.
